Dear Friends of ICE,

Chic=

ICE has moved! Although we were sad to say goodbye to our beloved=0D
Belmont Avenue office, we are happy to report that we found a wonderful=0D
new home south of the loop, in Pilsen/Chinatown.

<stro=

are faily quiet around the respective ICE Houses over the summer, as=0D
most of the Icicles are away playing at festivals (Marlboro, Aspen,=0D
Lucerne and Tanglewood), but we are gearing up for our=0D
FIFTH ANNIVERSARY SEASON this fall (that's right, we are turning=0D
FIVE!), which will kick off in New York on August 22 with ICE's debut=0D
at the Mostly Mozart Festival of Lincoln Center. We are honored to be prese=
nting the US Premiere of=0D
Magnus Lindberg's "Zona" for cello and ensemble, with none other =
than our own=0D
Katinka Kleijn at the helm!

The Chicago ICE season w=
ill kick off=0D
right afterwards, from Setpember 12-18, with a return of our=0D
back-by-popular-demand Chicago ICE-Fest - the sleepless, weeklong celebrati=
on of new music in nontraditional venues.=0D
This year, we'll be playing 7 consecutive nights of 7 different=0D
programs in 7 different Windy City bars, sweeping Chi-town from the=0D
South Side to the North Side. Stay tuned for details, as this will be an IC=
E=0D
festival not to miss!

Thanks from all of us at ICE f=
or your=0D
continued support. It's been a terrific season - ICE gave over 60=0D
concerts this year (!), including 96 world premieres of works by=0D
young composers, and we are excited to bring you even more in the=0D
coming season.

In the meantime, we wish you all a wo=
nderful summer.

ICE

Internat=
